**Tyler Community Mourns Passing of Allan Wayne Bussey; Services Scheduled This Weekend**

**TYLER, Texas** – Allan Wayne Bussey, 67, a lifelong resident of Tyler with deep community ties, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Services to commemorate his life are scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Tyler.

Visitation for Mr. Bussey will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, located in Tyler, Texas. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Stewart Family Funeral Home, also in Tyler, Texas. Reverend Pike Wisner will officiate. Following the service, interment will occur at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas.

Mr. Bussey maintained a long career in the Tyler community, notably as an employee of Tyler Pipe and later the Tyler Independent School District. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bussey; his children, Ashlee Bussey, Ashley Bussey, Amy K. Bussey, and Joshua Bussey; and his six grandchildren, Macy, Ryan, Hunter, Tyler, Avery, and Piper. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy Bussey, Rodney Bussey, Robin Bussey, and Rhonda Bussey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to PATH or Hiway 80 Rescue Mission.
