TYLER, Texas – On April 2, 2022, several Tyler-area automotive businesses collaborated to offer free tire air to local drivers, aiming to improve fuel efficiency and extend tire life amidst fluctuating gas prices. The initiative provided a no-cost service to help residents save money and enhance vehicle safety across East Texas.
Proper tire inflation is a key factor in vehicle performance and economy. Experts highlight that correctly inflated tires can boost gas mileage by up to three percent, significantly reducing fuel costs over time.
