Tyler multi-vehicle crash snarls Erwin traffic

TYLER – A multi-vehicle crash on West Erwin Street in Tyler caused significant traffic delays and road closures for several hours on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The incident, which occurred near the intersection of West Erwin Street and Paluxy Drive, prompted a response from Tyler Police, Tyler Fire, and EMS.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 10:15 a.m. and were on site by approximately 10:45 a.m. Responders reported that at least one individual sustained minor injuries, and several other people were evaluated by EMS personnel. Authorities confirmed there were no life-threatening injuries reported from the collision.

The crash forced responders to shut down parts of West Erwin Street, leading to substantial traffic congestion in the surrounding area. Drivers were advised to avoid the affected stretch of road and seek alternate routes to bypass the delays.
