Bojangles Announces Major Texas Expansion, First Locations Set for Dallas-Fort Worth in Early 2025
Bojangles, the popular Charlotte, North Carolina-based restaurant chain, is set to make a significant entry into the Texas market, with plans to open 15 to 20 new restaurants across the state over the next few years. The initial wave of expansion will target major metro areas including Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, with the Dallas-Fort Worth area expected to see its first Bojangles locations open by early 2025.
This ambitious Texas expansion is being spearheaded by master franchisee Dallas Restaurant Group, led by Anand Patel. Patel and his team are tasked with introducing Bojangles' signature menu items, which include famous made-from-scratch biscuits, flavorful fried chicken, and its legendary iced tea, to Texas diners.
Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1977, Bojangles has grown to approximately 800 locations across 18 states. The move into Texas represents a substantial new market for the brand, significantly broadening its national footprint.
