**Missing Jacksonville Woman Found Deceased in Tyler; Death Investigated as Homicide**

Tyler, TX – Kayla Nicole Davis, a 31-year-old Jacksonville woman reported missing earlier this month, was discovered deceased in Tyler this past Tuesday, January 16. Her death is being investigated as a homicide by the Tyler Police Department.

Davis's body was found inside an abandoned house located in the 1300 block of West 8th Street in Tyler.

Her family reported her missing on January 10. The last time anyone saw Davis was on January 9, when she was leaving a residence on West Oak Street in Jacksonville.

Authorities are also searching for Davis's silver 2011 Honda Accord, Texas license plate BVL-3677, which has not yet been located. Family members had reportedly expressed concerns about Davis's mental state and substance abuse issues prior to her disappearance.
