Tyler Gem, Mineral, Fossil, Jewelry Show Opens

**TYLER, Texas** – The annual Tyler Gem, Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show kicked off today, Saturday, February 7th, at the Tyler Rose Garden, offering a dazzling array of natural wonders for enthusiasts and families. Hosted by the East Texas Gem and Mineral Society, the popular event continues tomorrow, Sunday, February 8th, for one final day.

Today's show welcomed visitors from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featuring more than 60 vendors. Attendees discovered everything from impressive raw mineral specimens, including massive amethyst geodes, to ancient fossils like trilobites. The booths also showcased exquisite handcrafted jewelry, sparkling sapphires, and unique handmade silver pendants.

Beyond the extensive shopping opportunities, the show provides an engaging and educational experience for all ages. Interactive displays captivate younger attendees, while experts are available to identify mystery rocks brought in by visitors. Educational seminars are scheduled throughout both days, offering deeper insights into geology and lapidary arts. A silent auction also presents a chance to acquire one-of-a-kind specimens.

Admission to the Tyler Gem, Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show is $7 for adults, and children under 12 are admitted free of charge. Ample parking is available directly on site at the Tyler Rose Garden, located at 420 Rose Park Dr, Tyler, TX 75702.
