East Texas high school football teams launch into the playoffs this week, with numerous matchups scheduled across the region beginning Thursday, November 9th. Teams from 6A to 6-Man divisions are set to compete for a spot in the next round.
**Thursday, November 9th Games:**
In **6A**, the Longview Lobos (8-2) will host Dallas Skyline at 7 p.m. at Lobo Stadium in Longview. Tyler Legacy (4-6) travels to Rockwall to face the 9-1 Rockwall squad at 7 p.m. at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium.
**5A Division 1** sees Lufkin take on Mansfield Timberview at 7 p.m. at Lobo Stadium in Longview.
For **5A Division 2**, Whitehouse faces Dallas South Oak Cliff (8-2) this evening at Mesquite Memorial Stadium in Mesquite.
**4A Division 1** features Palestine (7-3) hosting Crandall at 7 p.m. at Rose Stadium in Tyler.
In **4A Division 2**, Center plays Farmersville at Eagle Stadium in Mount Pleasant. Waskom (7-3) is set to play Grand Saline at 7:30 p.m. at Pirate Stadium in Longview.
**3A Division 1** includes Jefferson (9-1) against Grandview at 7 p.m. in Palestine. Mineola plays Lorena at 7:30 p.m. at Rose Stadium in Tyler.
**2A Division 1** powerhouse Timpson (10-0) will face Marlin at 7 p.m. in Nacogdoches.
In **6-Man Division 1**, Bloomburg plays Merit Bland at 7 p.m. in Mount Vernon. **6-Man Division 2** has Campbell battling Fruitvale at 7 p.m. in Emory.
**Friday, November 10th Games:**
**5A Division 1** action includes Tyler High hosting Frisco Reedy at 7 p.m. at Rose Stadium in Tyler.
**5A Division 2** features Marshall (9-1) at home against Dallas Kimball at 7:30 p.m. at Maverick Stadium in Marshall. Texas High (7-3) will play Lucas Lovejoy (9-1) at 7 p.m. at Eagle Stadium in Texarkana.
**4A Division 1** matchups include Chapel Hill (7-3) playing Kaufman at 7:30 p.m. in Corsicana. Kilgore (8-2) faces undefeated Melissa at 7 p.m. in Palestine.
In **4A Division 2**, the undefeated Carthage Bulldogs (10-0) will play Sunnyvale at 7:30 p.m. at Pirate Stadium in Longview. Pleasant Grove will play Van at 7 p.m. in Nacogdoches.
**3A Division 1** sees Winnsboro take on Malakoff at 7:30 p.m. at Tyler Legacy's Red Raider Stadium in Tyler.
**3A Division 2** has Daingerfield (9-1) playing Palmer at 7:30 p.m. at Rebel Field in Hallsville. Elysian Fields (9-1) will host Edgewood at 7 p.m. at Jacket Stadium in Elysian Fields.
