Ex-Tyler Doctor Jailed 8 Years for Sex Crimes

**Former Tyler Neurologist Sentenced to Eight Years for Child Sexual Abuse**

**TYLER, Texas – June 20, 2024** – Dr. Gregory "Greg" Miller, 59, a former Tyler neurologist, was sentenced today to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The sentencing took place in Smith County's 241st District Court in Tyler, Texas. Judge Jack S. Skeen Jr. presided over the case. Assistant District Attorney Matthew Jones handled the prosecution, with defense attorney Clay Hobbs representing Miller.

Miller pleaded guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child, an offense involving his stepdaughter that occurred between August 1, 2017, and August 1, 2022. He also pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child, which involved a separate child and took place between January 1, 2021, and August 1, 2022.

Miller surrendered his medical license to the Texas Medical Board on April 12, 2024.
