Tyler, TX – The John Tyler Lions girls' soccer team concluded its 2023-2024 season, recording an overall record of 9 wins, 11 losses, and 2 ties. In District 15-5A play, the Lions finished with a 5-7-0 record.
The Lions kicked off their season on November 14, 2023, with a 1-1 home draw against Sulphur Springs at their Tyler campus field (visit TylerISD.org for school information). Early in the non-district schedule, the team secured a dominant 6-0 home victory over Jacksonville on November 17, followed by a 2-1 win against Whitehouse on November 20, both played in Tyler.
December saw the team travel to the Kilgore Tournament in Kilgore, Texas. There, they achieved a 2-0 win over Palestine on December 7 and later earned a 0-0 tie against Pine Tree on December 9, demonstrating their competitive spirit in tournament play.

February proved to be a strong month for John Tyler.
