**Reward Offered for Information on Deer Poaching, Decapitation Near Lake Tyler**

**TYLER, TX –** Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking public assistance and offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a recent deer poaching incident near Lake Tyler. Investigators are probing the illegal shooting and wasting of multiple deer on private property in the Swan community, which included the discovery of at least two mature bucks, one of which was found decapitated.

The incident is believed to have occurred on or after December 10th. Game Warden Randy Stovall is leading the investigation into the egregious wildlife crime. Authorities reported that the individuals responsible not only illegally harvested the deer but also left the carcasses to waste, a violation of state wildlife laws. The decapitation of one of the bucks has added a disturbing element to the case.

As of December 23rd, Operation Game Thief, Texas Parks and Wildlife's anti-poaching program, is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s). Anyone with information regarding suspicious activity around private property in the Swan community near Lake Tyler on or after December 10th is urged to come forward.
