**Texarkana Man Identified as Victim in Fatal Toll 49 Crash**

Tyler Police have identified the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Toll 49 early Monday morning as Brandon Scott Taylor, 41, of Texarkana, Arkansas. The identification was released Thursday, March 19, by authorities.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred around 4:10 a.m. Monday. According to investigators, Taylor was driving a tractor-trailer southbound on Toll 49, near the 2200 block, when the vehicle reportedly left the roadway. The truck then crashed through a guardrail and went over the overpass, ultimately landing on the eastbound lanes of Highway 31. The impact site on Highway 31 was specifically near the southbound entrance ramp from Toll 49 to Highway 31 East.
