Texas music icon Robert Earl Keen has announced the upcoming release of his new album, "Sag Op Reis," and an extensive "World Tour of Texas" marking his farewell to touring. The highly anticipated album is Keen's first collection of new studio songs since 2015 and precedes a grand celebration across the Lone Star State.
"Sag Op Reis" features 13 original tracks, produced by Brian Basset and recorded at The Zone in Dripping Springs, Texas. The digital version of the album will be available on July 12, with physical copies hitting stores on August 2.
The "World Tour of Texas" commences on July 12, coinciding with the digital album release, and spans across the state throughout July and August. While Keen is bidding farewell to life on the road, he is not retiring from music entirely, making this tour a full-circle moment celebrating his career in his home state.
