Smith County club shooting leaves 2 dead, 2 injured

**Two Dead, Two Injured in Early Morning Smith County Nightclub Shooting**

SMITH COUNTY, TX – Two individuals are dead and two others sustained injuries following an early Saturday morning shooting at a nightclub just north of the Tyler city limits. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on March 22nd at Club Fusion, located on the 16000 block of Highway 69 North in Smith County.

Authorities confirmed Joshua L. Davis, 24, of Tyler, was pronounced dead at the scene. DeAndre Johnson, 21, also of Tyler, was transported to UT Health Tyler, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Two additional individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions are currently stable, and they are expected to survive. The Smith County Sheriff's Office reported that an altercation began inside the club before spilling outside and escalating into gunfire.

Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith stated that the investigation is active and ongoing. As of Saturday, March 22nd, no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting.
