**Smith County Home Destroyed in Early Sunday Morning Fire**

A home in the 19000 block of County Road 1113, located east of Tyler in Smith County, was declared a complete loss after a fire engulfed the residence early Sunday, January 14. No injuries were reported among civilians or responding firefighters.

According to the Smith County Fire Marshal's Office, the initial call for the structure fire came in around 10:15 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency crews found heavy fire already visible from the exterior of the home.

The blaze prompted a significant response from multiple area fire departments. Among those assisting were the Winona Fire Department, Chapel Hill Fire Department, Noonday Fire Department, Arp Fire Department, Whitehouse Fire Department, and Starrville Fire Department. The American Red Cross also responded to provide assistance and support to the family displaced by the fire.
