Toll 49 Crash Injures 2, Vehicle Overturns in Tyler

TYLER, Texas – Two individuals were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, March 9, on Toll 49 northbound near FM 700 (Paluxy Drive) in Tyler, Smith County. One of the vehicles involved in the incident reportedly overturned.

Both injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released by authorities.

Emergency crews, including the Smith County Sheriff's Office, Tyler Police Department, Tyler Fire Department, and NET Health, responded quickly to the scene. They worked efficiently to manage the incident and clear the roadway.

By later Saturday morning, traffic on Toll 49, a significant thoroughfare for Tyler and Smith County, was flowing normally, and the crash site was fully reopened to the public.
