**TYLER RESIDENT GAINS INDEPENDENCE WITH NEW WHEELCHAIR RAMP**
TYLER – A Tyler resident gained significant independence this past Saturday, November 8th, 2025, thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers from the Texas Ramp Project. The group constructed a crucial wheelchair ramp at Jeanette Hall's home, enhancing her ability to safely and easily enter and exit her residence.
Hall, who lives in Tyler and faces disabilities, expressed her need for improved home accessibility. The new ramp addresses this critical requirement, offering a safe and secure pathway for her daily movements.
The Texas Ramp Project, a non-profit organization, provided the labor and materials for the ramp at no cost to Hall. This build is another example of their extensive work across Texas, where they have constructed thousands of ramps for individuals with disabilities, aiming to provide crucial independence and make homes much more accessible.
This latest project in Tyler exemplifies the organization's ongoing commitment to improving the lives of Texans by removing barriers to mobility. For more information on their work or to volunteer, visit www.texasramps.org.
