**Tyler Woman Dies in Fatal Dog Attack**

TYLER – A 71-year-old Tyler woman was found deceased outside her home on Sunday after being attacked by multiple dogs, according to the Smith County Sheriff's Office. Martha Ann Wilson was identified as the victim in the fatal incident on County Road 3105.

Deputies from the Smith County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wilson’s residence on County Road 3105 around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23rd, where they discovered her body. Authorities confirmed she had been attacked by multiple dogs.

Smith County Animal Control has since taken custody of the animals involved in the incident.

Detective Lt. David Evans confirmed the details, and Justice of the Peace Gary Alfred has ordered an autopsy to determine the official cause of death. The incident remains under investigation by the Smith County Sheriff’s Office in Smith County.
