**Tyler Man Killed in Red-Light Crash; Driver Arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter**

A Tyler man was killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Grande Boulevard and Shiloh Road, resulting in the arrest of another Tyler resident on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

Jeffrey Ryan Smith, 47, of Tyler, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 9:00 PM on August 10th. According to the Tyler Police Department, Smith was driving a 2023 Honda CRV southbound on Shiloh Road when his vehicle was struck by a 2017 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck.

Investigators determined the pickup truck, driven by 25-year-old Cody William Wallace, also of Tyler, was traveling eastbound on Grande Boulevard and ran a red light, colliding with Smith's vehicle.

Wallace was subsequently arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. The Tyler Police Department continues to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the incident at Grande Boulevard and Shiloh Road.
