Tyler Grand Openings: Dick's & D&B Jan 19 & 22

TYLER – Two highly anticipated national retailers, Dick's Sporting Goods and Dave & Buster's, are set to open their first Tyler locations this month at The Village at Cumberland Park, bringing new shopping and entertainment options to the community.

Dick's Sporting Goods will be the first to open its doors on Friday, January 19th, at 8:00 a.m. The grand opening celebrations for the expansive 80,000-square-foot athletic gear store are scheduled to run throughout the weekend, from Friday through Sunday.

Just days later, entertainment giant Dave & Buster's will hold its grand opening on Monday, January 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. Located at 8948 S. Broadway Avenue, the 19,000-square-foot venue promises a blend of dining and arcade games.

Both establishments are situated adjacent to each other within The Village at Cumberland Park, marking a significant expansion of retail and entertainment offerings in the area. The arrivals follow initial announcements made in October of 2022 and are expected to create a considerable number of new jobs for local residents.
