The district has also incorporated two bad weather makeup days into the schedule: Tuesday, May 27, 2025, and Monday, June 2, 2025. Two early release days are planned for Friday, December 20, 2024, and the final day of school, Friday, May 23, 2025.
The calendar was developed by a District Calendar Committee, comprising parents, teachers, and staff members. The committee's recommendations followed a public input process in January that garnered over 5,000 responses from a community survey presenting various calendar options. The approved calendar ensures compliance with the state-mandated 75,600 required instructional minutes.
