**Tyler Man Arrested After Road Rage Shooting Incident**
**TYLER, Texas** — A Tyler man was arrested Friday, February 16, after allegedly shooting another driver during a road rage incident that began near S. Broadway and Grande Boulevard.
Cody Allen Mitchell, 38, of Tyler, was taken into custody by the Tyler Police Department and booked into the Smith County Jail. He faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with his bond set at $100,000.
The incident reportedly began when a 37-year-old male victim made an abrupt stop at a traffic light near S. Broadway and Grande Boulevard in Tyler. This action apparently provoked Mitchell, who then followed the victim's vehicle.
The pursuit ended on Paluxy Drive and Grande Boulevard, also in Tyler, where Mitchell allegedly shot the victim in the leg. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and has since been released from the hospital.
