**Tyler Man Shot in Leg During Road Rage Incident Monday Afternoon**

**TYLER, Texas** – A 53-year-old man was shot in the leg during a road rage incident Monday afternoon in Tyler. The altercation occurred around 3:30 p.m. on May 6th at the intersection of South Donnybrook Avenue and West Grande Boulevard.

According to authorities, the victim was involved in an argument with another driver that escalated, resulting in the shooting. The injury sustained was reported as non-life-threatening.

Following the incident, the victim managed to drive himself to an urgent care clinic located on South Broadway Avenue. From there, he was transported to UT Health East Texas, where he was last reported to be in serious but stable condition.

The Tyler Police Department is investigating the shooting. Investigators believe the suspected shooter may have been driving a black Ford Mustang. Roadways surrounding the intersection of South Donnybrook Avenue and West Grande Boulevard were temporarily closed to allow officers to collect evidence, including a spent shell casing, and interview witnesses.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been announced at this time.
