**Tyler ISD Special Needs Bus Involved in Three-Vehicle Crash; Minor Injuries Reported**
**TYLER, Texas** – A Tyler ISD special needs bus transporting approximately 20 students was involved in a three-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon on Highway 271 near Loop 323, resulting in minor injuries to a few students and one adult. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on December 9, 2025.
The collision, which took place near the intersection of Highway 271 and Loop 323 in Tyler, involved the Tyler ISD (tylerisd.org) bus, an 18-wheeler, and an additional passenger vehicle. Despite the nature of the crash, Tyler ISD confirmed that all students on board were safe. While a few students sustained minor injuries, and one adult on the bus also had minor injuries, no serious harm was reported to any of the individuals involved.
